EPS
Founded in 2005, EPS is a simple and secure online payment method established by mainstream banks in Austria. EPS is a new payment standard and has become the most popular online payment method locally.
When paying with EPS, users are redirected to the website of the bank that they choose, and then enter the payment information. After the payment, users are redirected to the merchant payment result page to check whether the payment is successful.

User experience

The following graphic shows the user experience of paying with EPS:
- The user selects EPS to pay.
- The user selects the payment bank.
- The user completes the online login of the bank.
- The user confirms the order information.
- The user receives an approval request message from the bank app on the phone.
- The user opens the bank app and confirms the payment information.
- The user completes the approval operation.
- The user manually switches back to the APM page to view the payment result.
- The user is redirected to the merchant result page.
