Risk score
Antom Shield's risk scoring utilizes machine learning to analyze each transaction's risk in real-time. The score considers multiple transaction-related data points and leverages extensive enterprise network data to assess potential fraud risks. The generation of the risk score relies on the complete data fields transmitted through your interface. Please ensure all necessary information is provided to enhance the effectiveness of the risk assessment. For the data fields required by Antom Shield, please refer to the Get Started, and for details on required fields, please refer to Antom APIs.
Risk score reference
Before the machine learning model of Antom Shield performs risk scoring based on your transaction data, do agree to the terms shown to you in the Risk Module, otherwise you will not be able to use the risk scoring function. Once you agree to the terms, you can view the risk score via the Risk transaction menu in the Antom Dashboard.
Once you agree to Antom Shield's Privacy terms, you can view the risk score via the Risk transaction menu in the Antom Dashboard. Each transaction's risk score ranges from 1 to 100, indicating the increasing level of risk.
- Risk Score < 50: Indicates relatively low risk; all indicators and data values are within a safe range.
- 50 < Risk Score < 80: Indicates moderate risk. It is advisable to check for any suspicious factors and conduct timely risk assessments.
- Risk Score > 80: Indicates high risk. In this case, pay close attention to the transaction details and take appropriate measures to mitigate risk.
Note:
- Risk score is calculated by a machine learning model and is intended to serve as a reference, not a definitive representation of actual risk levels. Antom recommend that you consider your specific business context to make a comprehensive judgment.
- If you subscribe to Antom Shield Premium, the Antom risk control expert team will provide more precise and personalized risk management support tailored to your specific business needs. As a result, individual risk scores will not be displayed separately.
Use risk scores in rules
The risk score can be included as an important variable in the rule configuration to optimize risk management and control processes. When the risk score exceeds a certain threshold, it can automatically trigger certain actions, such as 3DS authentication or rejection of the transaction. For detailed implementation instructions, please refer to Rule.
