      1. The customer purchases goods or pays bills at the cashier.
      2. The merchant places orders in ECR/terminal and scans the QR code or barcode from the customer's wallet app by using an app, scanner, or terminal.
      3. The app, scanner, or terminal sends a payment request to Alipay HK for authorization.
      4. Alipay HK processes the transaction and sends the customer the payment result via SMS and in-app notification.
      5. Alipay HK sends payment result to the merchant via the pre-defined notification method.
